Meditei sobre os Dons do Espírito Santo durante a Hora Eucarística, em 8 de Junho de 2012. Surgiu a seguinte metáfora: somos turbinas e o Espírito Santo é o vento soprando nas turbinas como LHe apraz.
O Espírito Santo concede-nos os Seus dons como LHE apraz, e tornamo-nos Seus instrumentos entregando-LHE o inteleto e a vontade. São Tomás de Aquino afirmou: sabedoria, entendimento, ciência e conselho dirigem o intelecto, enquanto fortaleza, piedade e temor de Deus dirigem a vontade.
Acordei assustado no dia seguinte ouvindo uma voz alta e clara: “o teu sofrimento é o teu tesouro” . . . mensagem do Espírito Santo.

The sins against the Holy Spirit are: despair, presumption, impenitence, obstinacy, resisting truth, and envy of another’s spiritual welfare.
I do intend to write an article about the sins later, but in the next six weeks I’ll take a sabbatical of articles in English to write a book in Portuguese at the request of the Holy Spirit.
