The United States has raised its alert level and committed security resources in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Paris, France, but a spiritual alert is missing to complement the security measures.

“Write Manuel that I am a historical being with decisive influence over America and the world.  I have tried in Modern History to prevent World War II and the ensuing Communist expansion when I sent the Blessed Mother to Fatima, Portugal, but the world was deaf to her message.  I want America to turn to me in the Sunday commemoration of My Son’s sacrifice on the cross.  A heavy dark cloud threatens America and I want to dissipate the cloud through your spiritual commitment.”

The Allied joined forces to fight Nazism and succeeded after much effort, suffering and human casualties, and the same woes afflicted Humanity with the Communist expansion after World War II.  Humanity could have prevented both catastrophes if we had embraced the message of Our Lady of Fatima, but Mankind ignored the message and exposed itself to both cataclysms that The Eternal Mother had prophesied in the apparitions.

The horrific events in America on September 11, 2001, are still fresh in mature memories.  We suffered great distress and sought churches for solace and closure, but most Americans discontinued worship thereafter.  We should learn from historical shortcomings and resume worship before another terrorist attack might hit America.
