Morality comprises principles of right and wrong. Basic morality condemns murder, adultery, lying and stealing, and evolves and differs in societies. One culture may consider polygamy moral and another immoral, and women as men’s property moral and another immoral.

Ethics is the philosophy of morality and covers morality in society. Kant based ethics on duty and obligation, and Aristotle on virtue. Ethics are pertinent in life, for example, businesses, academic and legal ethics.
