Sexual Crimes Against Children

THE LITTLE CHILDREN AND JESUS

People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

— Mark 10:13-16

Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

— Matthew 19:13-14

People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

— Luke 18:15-17

THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

He called a little child to him and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”

— Matthew 18:1-5

THOSE WHO HURT CHILDREN

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it was better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and [that] he was drowned in the depth of the sea.

— Matthew 18:6

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.

— Matthew 25:40

It was better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

— Luke 25:40

Remnant Church of God — are we soldiers of God or Satan?

This is the definite hour for the Church to manifest its colors and protect the lives of innocent children against heinous crimes, and also to provide some solace to the families who lost so horrifically their children to such despicable people.  Ultimately, we would be militating for personal security, our children’s security, social security and the safeguard of our Jewish-Christian tradition.
