Liz Crockin about Julian Assange

Julian Paul Assange was born on July 3, 1971, in Townsville, Australia.  He  is a journalist, computer programmer, and the founder and director of WikiLeaks.   Assange founded WikiLeaks in 2006, an international publishing organization known for revealing war crimes, human rights abuses, and corruption. Assange describes himself as an advocate of information transparency. WikiLeaks came to international attention in 2010 when it published a series of leaks provided by Chelsea Manning.  After the 2010 leaks, the United States government launched a criminal investigation into WikiLeaks and asked allied nations for assistance.

“Julian Assange is a hero because he exposed the United States trafficking children around the world,” claims Liz Crockin.
