‘Underwater Explosions’ could be a major threat to La Palma Island.

The La Palma lava has been spewing for 10 days now. Scientists have now warned of small explosions after the magma reached the Atlantic ocean. Officials are currently assessing the toxicity of the gases being released into the ocean which could potentially lead to an underwater explosion.
