I could not believe the Soccer Referee Commission of Portugal had appointed João Pinheiro to the game Benfica/Sporting for the Portuguese Cup! It is still fresh in the memory of Sporting’s supporters the horrific work of João Pinheiro in the most recent Guimarães/Sporting game in Sporting’s great detriment. Is the Referee Commission under heavy drugs or stupidity pills?

Humanity is under heavy stress and anxiety; therefore, it can easily revolt and become violent. This week, the game Estoril/Porto attests to such revolt and violence. I wish this national soccer derby may repeat the great feast of soccer in Portugal, but the Referee Commision may have laid a nightmare trap . . .
