Jesus vs Muhammad

______________________________________________________________

01. Jesus did not sin. Muhammad was a sinner.

02. Jesus’ tomb was found empty. Muhammad was still in it.

03. Jesus’ death was planned, intended, and predicted. Muhammad died of illness.

04. Jesus was merciful to sinners, whereas Muhammad was not.

05. Jesus was a man of peace, while Muhammad was a man of violence.

06. Jesus had authority over darkness (evil spirits), whereas Muhammad did not.

07. Jesus gave people the choice to follow him, whereas Muhammad did not.

08. Muhammad said that Allah does not love those who reject Islam (Quran 30:45, 3:32, 22:38), whereas Jesus said that Allah loves all people, whether they believe in Him or not (John 3:16). The Christian God is loving and unconditional in His love, whereas Allah’s love is completely conditional.

09. Jesus condemned theft: “You shall not steal” (Matthew 19:18), while Muhammad permitted theft from unbelievers: “The people became hungry and seized camels and goats (as booty)” (Bukhari 44:668).

10. Muhammad permitted lying (Sahih Muslim 6303, Bukhari 49:857) whereas Jesus did not: “You shall not bear false witness” (Matthew 19:18).

11. Jesus never owned a slave or traded with anyone, whereas Muhammad did: “The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: Sell him to me” (Sahih Muslim 3901).

12. While Jesus taught forgiveness (Matthew 18:21-22, 5:38), Muhammad did not. We saw above that he killed those who mocked or ridiculed him.

13. Muhammad taught revenge: “If anyone transgresses against you in any way, transgress against him in the same way” (Quran 2:194), whereas Jesus did not teach this: “If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also” (Matthew 5:39).

14. Their personal and private relationships were very different. As far as we know, Jesus was a celibate man, while Muhammad married 13 wives and had sex slaves (Bukhari 5:268, Quran 33:50).

15. Muhammad had sex with a nine year old child (Bukhari 5:268, Quran 33:50) whereas Jesus never had sexual relations with a minor.

16. Their teachings on peace are very much at odds with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, jihad in the way of Allah will raise a person’s status in heaven a hundredfold (Muslim 46:45), while the Prophet Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).

17. Their approach to women was different. Jesus forgave prostitutes, and even had female followers. However, Muhammad killed women (Ibn Ishaq 819, 995).

18. Jesus never ordered or commanded a battle campaign or war against the infidels, whereas Muhammad ordered at least 65 such campaigns in the last ten years of his life (Ibn Ishaq).

19. Muhammad killed many prisoners of war: “Then a man drew his sword and cut off his son’s leg so that he fell down and Umayya [the boy’s father] let out a loud cry such as I had never heard before… They tore the prisoners of war with their swords until they died” (Ibn Ishaq 451, Ishaq/Hisham 449), whereas Jesus never captured or killed anyone.

20. Jesus never enslaved women or raped them, whereas Muhammad did (Abu Dawud 2150, Qur’an 4:24).

21. Muhammad was never tortured, but tortured others (Muslim 4131, Ibn Ishaq 436, 595, 734, 764), while Jesus never tortured anyone, but he himself was tortured.

22. Jesus commanded us to love and pray for them (Matthew 5:44), whereas Muhammad did not: “And fight them until there is no more oppression and religion belongs to Allah alone” (Al-Quran 8:39)

23. Muhammad celebrated and blessed the killing of a half-blind man (al-Tabari 1440), while Jesus healed a blind man (Mark 8:28).

24. Muhammad and Jesus had different views on what the greatest commandment was. According to Jesus, the greatest commandment was “Love Allah and love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:34-40), while Muhammad believed the greatest commandment was “Faith in Allah and Jihad (holy war) for His sake” (Muslim 1:149).

25. Muhammad demanded armed guard protection, even in houses of worship (Koran 4:102), whereas Jesus did not (John 18:10-12).

26. While Jesus laid down his life for others (John 18:11), Muhammad asked others to lay down their lives for him (Sahih Muslim 4413).

27. Although we have seen many of Muhammad’s murderous tendencies, we also see that he approved of the crucifixion of others (Quran 5:33, Muslim 16:41-31), whereas Jesus himself was crucified to save humanity from sin.

28. While the followers of Jesus were persecuted and never used violence, the followers of Muhammad, and many more to this day, forcibly persecute and execute non-believers.

29. According to Muhammad: “Whoever fights for the word of Allah to be superior, then he fights in the way of Allah” (Bukhari 53:355), while Jesus commanded his followers to “Go into all the world, preach the Gospel to every creature” (Matthew 15:16).

30. While Jesus’ followers gave their possessions to those in need (Acts 2:44-45), Muhammad’s followers stole and lived off the wealth of others. Muhammad repeatedly hijacked caravans carrying goods in the desert during his war against Mecca.

31. While Muhammad emphasized his kingdom on Earth: “And Allah made you heirs of their lands, houses, and possessions” (Quran 33:27), Jesus declared that his kingdom was not of the world, “My kingdom is not the kingdom of this world” (John 18:36, Luke 14:33)

32. Jesus’ followers shared their faith proudly but with gentleness and kindness (1 Peter 3:15), while Muhammad’s followers were commanded to kill, convert, or subdue Christians and Jews (Koran 9:29). Both teachings came from Jesus and Muhammad themselves.

33. While Jesus’ legacy is one of mercy, forgiveness, love and truth, Muhammad’s legacy is not. Islamic texts instruct men to beat their disobedient wives (Quran 4:34, Sahih Muslim 2127), while Christian texts instruct men: “Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them” (Colossians 3:19).

“THE PROBLEM WITH CHRISTIANS IS THAT THEY ARE NOT AS GOOD AS JESUS. BUT MANY MUSLIMS ARE BETTER THAN MUHAMMAD.”
