Duarte Gomes’ analysis of refereeing: two penalties for scoring for Sporting

Negative work from the entire refereeing team including the VAR!

I had never read an analysis of the refereeing of a football match in which there were two penalties forgiven to the same team and the referee received a score of 3.

The VAR was alert with enough time to analyze the penalties but exhibited fascist behavior. A Resurrected Salazar returned to São Bento.

They punished Santa Clara in the game aginst Benfica and now to make up for it, forgives two penalties to the Saint. Leave the Saint alone!

Salazar said: “a referee who harms Benfica is not a good head of the family”. Referee teams have already helped Benfica in this championship twice in detriment of Sporting. Arbitration accentuates the image of a corrupt Portugal, which hurts Portuguese emigrants.

The Arbitration Council must implement a Sports Morals and Ethics course during the period between championships to elevate Sports Ethics to the European level, like in England. When soccer referees make serious mistakes in a game, they must admit the error and face consequences such as fines and suspension for their team. Portugal should follow the English criteria to value our soccer.
