Did the California’s ‘Infanticide Bill’ ever exist? Yes, it did!

“Infanticide” is defined as:

  1. The practice of killing newborn infants.
  2. The act of killing an infant.
  3. One who kills an infant.

AB 2223 Amended

AB 2223, passed the Assembly Appropriations Committee approval of an amendment that mostly removed the verbiage decriminalizing infanticide, the California Family Council reported. “Legislators made the change after thousands of pro-life advocates came to Sacramento to oppose the bill.”

AB 2223 legalized infanticide before the Amendment.
