“And I heard, but did not understand, and I said, ‘My lord, what shall be the end of these things?’
He said, ‘Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; and the wicked shall do wickedly, and no wicked man shall understand; but the wise shall understand. From the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate is set up, there shall be 1290 days. Blessed is he that waits and comes to the 1335 days. But go thou unto thy end, and rest: you will stand for your inheritance at the end of days’” (Daniel 12:8-13).

The wise will possess Intelligence for spiritual purification and refinement to anticipate the Second Coming of Christ, but the wicked will keep their ways, declared the Father in Heaven. Intelligence allows us to penetrate God’s ideas to convince ourselves of the truths of the Faith. Abomination of Desolation refers to the evil that the Antichrist will perpetrate in a Jewish sanctuary after a period of increasing Apostasy and Evil. He will then do more and more evil throughout the world. Let us commit our lives to Jesus, loving others as He loved them and worshiping Him as He taught us. The greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul and strength. In return, He will keep us safe through the desolation that will close the history of the earth just before the coming of Christ.

We are living in a time of increasing Apostasy and Evil, signs of the times before the Antichrist and the Abomination of Desolation. The Bible mentions approximately 3.5 years from the Abomination of Desolation to Christ Second Coming. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” (Matthew 24:36).
