Dr. Viktor Frankl (1905 – 1997) was an Austrian neurologist, psychiatrist, Holocaust survivor, and the founder of logotherapy — a form of existential analysis. His logotherapy flagship, Man’s Search for Meaning, chronicles his experiences in a nazy concentration camp, which contributed to the importance of finding meaning in all forms of existence. Frankl became prominent in existential therapy and humanist psychology.
