Mystery and Victory

“Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

‘Death is swallowed up in victory.’

‘O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your sting?’

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.”  (1 Cor 15:51-56)

On December 9, 2015, I left a church pew, and passed alongside my mother’s casket to make the second reading. Yes, it was an address of Mystery, Victory … and Hope. “We shall not all sleep,” means some of us won’t die. Will you brother or sister fall asleep or not?  You probably do not know, but be assured that you belong to the generation of Christ Second Coming. I myself wondered whether or not I’ll fall asleep, and I’m already 61. I was rejoicing in Hope, when I passed alongside the casket after the reading, and returned to the pew with the thought “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

Brethren, it’s my mission, pursuant to the Holy Spirit, to assist the Mystical Body of Christ to prepare for His second coming. Therefore, I exhort you to embrace the Grace of God in the present Jubilee of Mercy as the Apostle Paul exhorted the Ephesians.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”  (Ephesians 6:10-18)
