“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  (Matthew 22:36-40)

One must concurrently exercise two commands: (1) Love God above all, and (2) Love your neighbor as yourself.  we cannot exercise the latter commandment in a vacuum.

Adults and children may feel mutual attraction, even love, without sexual attraction. Pedophilia is a psychological disorder where the pedophile presents a sexual attraction to prepubescent children. 

Most pedophiles are men, though pedophilia may occur in women.  While many persons guilty of child sexual abuse are pedophiles, some control their sexual urges, and counseling can help to reduce them.  Do typical pedophiles seek counseling?

A civilized society should eradicate all forms of sexual exploitation of children, like kidnapping, trafficking, sex, slavery, torture, murder, ritual sacrifices to Satan, including drinking victims’ blood, and selling their organs.
