It’s official: seven swing states have sent pro-Trump electors to vote for Trump in the Electoral college. This means that the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico all have “dueling electors.” In other words, they had their GOP electors cast their votes for Trump. What does this mean? On January 6, 2021, it is up to the U.S. Congress to certify the electoral votes. They will have to choose which of the dueling electors to take.
