The Heavenly Father, His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are God in three persons, the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Mother Teresa of Calcutta shown with Pope John Paul II at the bottom of this article, adored the Holy Trinity and was a model of charity among you.
“’Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?’ He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40)
Christ was born a Jew, except without sin, to redeem humanity from sin through death on a cross. He resurrected from the dead, ordered His apostles to preach the Christian Faith, and ascended to Heaven. Christ sent 40 days later the Holy Spirit to guide Christians until The End Times.
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.” (John 16:7)
“But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” (John 7:39)
Christ is outpouring His Divine Mercy and the Holy Spirit His Gifts to counteract evil in the world.
