I was born in Azores, a Portuguese archipelago in the North Atlantic, and went to the mainland for military service. I visited Fatima in 1975, served at one mass and prayed at the apparitions’ site.

The Virgin Mary’s first apparition occurred on May 13, 1917, and her message was Conversion, Penance and Prayer. The Virgin Mary informed about the end of World War I, but a major war would ensue if humanity overlooked her message, so World War II ensued.  Some survivors of Nazi concentration camps attested war atrocities to our generation of Christ Second Coming.
