Our battle is against the forces of Satan, and the battle of Armageddon is the climax of Satan’s attack on God’s people.  Satan wants humanity to worship him rather than God for Satan desires to exalt himself to the throne of God and receive universal worship.

“For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.” (Ephesians 6:12)

This battle of Armageddon is universal, and Armageddon is the battlefield surrounding the ancient city of Megiddo, the site of the final confrontation between God and Satan. The armies will gather for war, and Christ will return secretly to the world to scatter the armies and establish His power.

“They then assembled the kings in the place that is named Armageddon in Hebrew.” (Revelation 16:16)

The Antichrist is a future satanic figure that will fight Christ at Armageddon, Israel.  Satan has used several masks throughout history, such as Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler. Satanic fights are raging and sometimes they dominate World News, such as World War II and the contemporary Abortion Holocaust. We should not worry and speculate about the final battle because Christ Himself will attain victory; rather we should engage in our salvation and in assistance to the most vulnerable children of God including persecuted Christians and pre-born babies on the risk of abortion.

The Bible teaches us about Christ Second Coming to establish power in Jerusalem, demand mankind’s allegiance, and build a temple for universal worship. The Lord will reign on Earth! He is about to return to resurrect the dead, to reunite all saints in Heaven, to change political and moral lifestyles, to unite mankind in the truth, and to draw them in worship in the Temple of Jerusalem.

“The LORD will be king over the whole earth; on that day the LORD will be the only one, and the LORD’s name the only one.” (Zechariah 14:9)
