The Silent Prayer

It’s increasingly harder to hear the voice of God as the noise has consistently increased in the world and into our lives. The more time we spend in silence the more clearly we hear the voice of God. Silence and solitude are the key ingredients for Spiritual Growth.

Clarity generally emerges from silence. People driven by passion and purpose spend some time in silence and solitude to meditate on the purpose of their lives, for it is in the silence that we find God and our true self. We may pray to seek the will of God for our lives, but without silence it becomes almost impossible to discern God’s will.

A Dynamic Catholic seeks quiet places to hear God’s will and then he tries to fulfill it to the best of his ability. We often resist God’s will instead of surrendering to his perfect plan to our lives, whereas Dynamic Catholics are committed to listening to the voice of God in their lives.
