Changing the World

God considers human behavior when He wants to change the world.  Humanity achieved remarkable technological development, but one-third of humanity is starving, and societal morals and ethics are deplorable.

Changing the world has been a part of the Catholic mission, which has exerted a powerful role in world improvement.  For example, the Church has broken the class barrier in education and has been a leader in caring for the sick and the poor.  Unfortunately, Catholics have horribly affected the world, for example the Inquisition atrocities and the sexual abuse scandal within the priesthood.  Yet the Catholic Church has been a charitable force around the world for two thousand years.

We seem obsessed with our maintenance and survival and ignore our Catholic mission.  Catholics can make a huge contribution to mankind, such as the eradication of hunger in America and then in the world, if  we focus in virtue and character.
