Parable of The Two Builders

The True Disciple.  “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name?’   Then I will declare to them solemnly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’”

The Two Foundations. “Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.  The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.   And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand.   The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined.” When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes. (Mt 7:21-29)

The Holy Spirit inspired me to present the parable of The Two Builders or The Two Foundations to you, which was often read on Wedding Masses in Portugal in my formative years.  The couple promised joint fidelity, the Roman Catholic Baptism of their  children and their education on the Faith, and to uphold commands and values of the Church.  Some pastors even asserted that the couple had taken a right building step marrying in the Catholic Church.  Is our youth taking this step today?

Brethren, let us discuss the parable of The Two Builders in the broad context of our generation of Christ Second Coming.  Are we building for Heaven or for Hell?  Let’s remember that Purgatory will cease at Christ’s return.  Let’s examine our life at the light of this article video, and if we are building based on Christ, the rock of our salvation, let us continue and  seek continuous Spiritual Growth.  Otherwise, let us reverse course to join the Church of Christ, but we may unfortunately decide to continue to build on Satan, the rock of our damnation.  The decision is entirely ours!

Everybody likes to join heroes and avoid losers.  Satan is the biggest loser known to Humanity as he didn’t truly understand his role in the Kingdom of God and once expelled from Heaven, because of His PRIDE, he lied and deceived Humanity subjecting all humans throughout the Ages to sin, suffering and death.  Satan’s trademark is lie and deceit, which we should avoid, whereas God’s trademark is love, which we should seek.

Yes, Christ incarnated and underwent a barbaric Passion and Death on a Cross to reconcile Humanity with the Almighty Father and reopen the gates of Heaven to us, where there is joy an happiness.  If we are not walking having Christ on our path of life, we should seek Him immediately.  The triumphant, glorious Christ will soon meet His elected in the clouds and lead them to Heaven.  Beware if we have made Satan, the evil loser, our hero in life till Christ Second Coming the Archangel Michael will come and throw us with Satan into Hell, where there is sadness and suffering.

Brethren, God is the Creator and controller of the universe.  He is omnipresent, omniscient, omnibenevolent and omnipotent. God is also eternal, the sublime source of ethics, and the giver of Grace, including the Faith to believe in His existence. Satan is a single entity, the main angel rebelling against God, and then originating all evil in the world.  God created man and gave him freedom to choose between his Creator and Satan, who wants to transform Earth into Hell and rejoices over carnages.
