“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” (Matthew 12:30-32)
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have the same nature, but different personalities. The first two persons of the Holy Trinity live in Heaven and the Holy Spirit lives on Earth. He feels deeply human emotions, even pain, grief and anguish.
“And do not grieve the holy Spirit of God, with which you were sealed for the day of redemption.“ (Ephesians 4:30)
Why is the Holy Spirit so protected? The Father and the Son know the Holy Spirit is so sweet, and easily touched with pain. “If you touch Him, we will never forgive you.”
“But whoever blasphemes against the holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an everlasting sin.” (Mark 3:29)
