Jim tells the compelling story of how he almost died making “The Passion of the Christ” movie. He got sick with double pneumonia in both lungs, his weight dropped form 210 to 165 and his shoulder continually kept coming out of joint. He turned blue and it was not make-up. The doctor told Mel Gibson that he could die during this scene. Jim prayed and God told him to go on with the scene. Jim decided if he did die, perhaps it would bring more people to Christ.
