Fatima, August 13, 1917

Thousands of people flocked to Fatima on August 13, 1917 motivated by presumed visions and miracles, but the provincial administrator Artur Santos (no relation to Lucia) intercepted and jailed the children before they could reach the Cova da Iria, because he believed that the events of Fatima were politically disruptive. He interrogated and threatened the children to get them to divulge the secrets of the Blessed Mother. Lucia told him everything except the secrets, and offered to ask Our Lady for permission to tell the administrator the secrets. She appeared to the little shepherds on 15 August, the Feast of the Assumption, at nearby Valinhos.

The film is a demonstration of the gift of Fortitude operating in the children, because they would rather die than to reveal the secrets. Christians need abundant Fortitude in The End Times, primarily during The Great Tribulation to resist to The Antichrist.
