The following verse reveals the contemporary Apostasy and the impending revelation of The Antichrist.

“Let no one in any way deceive you, for it [Jesus’ return] will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

The lawlessness is the Antichrist, and the restrainer is Saint Joseph per the article New Prophecy from Father Michael Rodrigue.

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. But the one who restrains is to do so only for the present, until he is removed from the scene. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord [Jesus] will kill with the breath of his mouth and render powerless by the manifestation of his coming, the one whose coming springs from the power of Satan in every mighty deed and in signs and wonders that lie, and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-10)

The Blessed Mother said:

‘The great suffering of the Church comes through political power, and laws will be created to prevent the action of the Church. In many places temples will be destroyed and Christians will weep and lament.’

The voice of truth that restrains men from their passions by calling them to repentance and conversion has been entrusted to the Church. The world is on the brink of lawlessness, it means to embrace, codify, and promote falsehoods as though they were truths. To abandon objective truth, which underpins the principles of just law, is to allow the whole structure to collapse.
