Salvation: the Meaning of Life

The video reminded me the best seller book  Man’s Search for Meaning written by Viktor Frankl.  He was a 20th century psychiatrist who survived the Holocaust and founded Logotherapy.   Rather than power or pleasure, logotherapy advocates that striving to find a meaning in one’s life is the primary, most powerful motivating and driving force in humans.

Your Salvation should be the primary meaning of your life.  “What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life?” (Matthew 16:26).

Existential psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy founded upon the belief that human existence is best understood through a deep examination of our own experiences. The psychotherapy can be highly effective for youth and adults who are struggling to make healthy life choices and accept the consequences of these choices. This may include individuals struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and a wide range of psychological and behavioral issues.
